bridge of friendship

This red bridge is located in Kleinblittersdorf. It spans across the Saar and connects France and Germany. I took this photograph standing on the German side and the houses you see belong to the French village Grosbliederstroff. The bridge is a beautiful symbol for the peace and friendship between France and Germany and for that reason it is called the "bridge of friendship".

another photograph I took in the beautiful French village called "Blies-Schweyen". It's unbelievable that it's just a short walk across a little bridge away from the German village "Bliesmengen-Bolchen". I'm still fascinated by its beauty and the closeness (and the friendship of course! ;) )!

because I'm gonna write a class test tomorrow I don't write very much.
I just want to show you a picture of a bridge here in Saarbrücken.
Actually it's a bridge for trains but you can walk as well. It's always a little scary to walk there when a train arrives because it's very loud and everything starts shaking.
