in English: In memory of Homburg freedom fighters Siebenpfeiffer and Wirth and the "Hambacher Fest" in 1832, which was declared by them. Bonifatius Stirnberg designed the fountain in 1992 which is one of the few German works of art that are dedicated to freedom and the German Unity.
